Warranty policy & terms and conditions
In-house warranty: The coverage described on this page is an in-house warranty provided solely by 3D’s Missoula Inc. for repairs performed at our facility. It is not a manufacturer, OEM, or third-party warranty unless that coverage is separately stated in writing on your invoice.
Aftermarket modification disclaimer
Deletes, tunes, and performance programming are among the most common causes of disputed warranty claims. These modifications, and other changes that exceed OEM specifications, are automatic void conditions for coverage related to affected systems. See also section 8 (warranty void conditions).
1. Warranty coverage
We provide an in-house, 1-year (12 months) parts and labor warranty on all repairs performed by our shop. This coverage is limited to our workmanship and parts we supply; it does not extend any factory or manufacturer warranty. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and/or parts installed during the repair.
- Warranty period begins on the date of repair completion.
- Applies only to the specific repair(s) performed and listed on the invoice.
4. Customer responsibilities
To maintain warranty coverage, the customer must:
- Follow all manufacturer-recommended maintenance schedules.
- Operate the vehicle within OEM specifications.
- Provide documentation of proper maintenance if requested.
- Notify our shop immediately upon noticing an issue.
5. Warranty claim procedure
Follow these steps in order:
- Stop driving immediately if you suspect a failure related to a warranty repair. Continued operation can cause additional damage and may affect your claim.
- Contact the shop right away at 406-549-2111 or 3dszach@gmail.com.
- Return the vehicle to our facility for inspection before any further repairs. Unauthorized repairs by another shop or individual will void warranty coverage for the related concern.
We reserve the right to inspect the vehicle, determine the cause of failure, and approve or deny warranty claims.
6. Limitations of liability
Our warranty covers repair or replacement of defective parts and related labor only. It does not cover indirect or consequential costs.
- Warranty is limited strictly to repair or replacement of defective parts and labor.
-
We are not responsible for:
- Downtime or time the vehicle is out of service.
- Loss of revenue or lost loads / missed work.
- Towing, lodging, or incidental expenses — you are responsible for these costs.
- Maximum liability shall not exceed the original repair invoice amount.
7. Transferability
- Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer and vehicle listed on the invoice.
8. Warranty void conditions
Warranty will be void if:
- Vehicle is modified beyond factory specifications.
- Evidence of abuse, neglect, or tampering is found.
- Required maintenance is not performed.
- Repairs are completed without our authorization.
9. Acknowledgment
By authorizing repairs, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all terms and conditions outlined in this warranty policy.
